Claire Noble has worked at two ends of the care spectrum, elderly care and now childcare.
She retrained as a nursery practitioner after deciding that losing people in residential care had become too difficult for her.
Now 33, she joined Clever Clogs Bowburn five years ago and became Senior Practitioner in charge of Small Discoverers, our room for older babies up the age of two, in 2019.
Here, she manages the staff who work in the room as they continue their journey at the nursery.
Claire says: “The children all grow and develop in different ways, so we need to be flexible and be able to adapt to meet their specific needs.
“For me that’s one of the most enjoyable parts of the job and it’s so rewarding to see how the children progress and knowing you had a big part to play in this.”
When she’s not at work, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, including going on long walks.
