As a nursery school/early years teacher, Anna Hall was well placed when it came to choosing a setting for her own daughter.

After being recommended two nurseries in her area, she visited both but knew immediately when she stepped foot in Clever Clogs Bowburn that we were the one.

Anna explains: “I teach in a nursery pre-school and have taught reception in the past, so I knew the sorts of things I was looking for and I found that at Clever Clogs.

“It’s a calm environment, I liked that they only used natural resources and how attentive the staff were to the children; it just had a lovely feel to it.”

Anna’s son now also attends Clever Clogs Bowburn and says she has been impressed by how the nursery helps to develop the children.

She adds: “It’s the things which may appear to be small, but which are actually fundamental to early years development, such as coming home and putting their coats on pegs in the house or washing their hands. This self-care is so important

“Like all parents, and even though I work in a nursery myself, it was difficult leaving my children for the first time, but they are safe at Clever Clogs and couldn’t be in better hands.”
