Katelin Elliott’s dream was to work in childcare for as long as she remembers.

At college she completed placements at a primary and secondary school but says she always wanted to work with younger children.

Katelin, who has a Level 3 in Childcare, says: “I always enjoyed babysitting when I was younger and am an aunt, so I knew childcare was definitely the job for me.”

Katelin joined Clever Clogs in June and works in Little Badgers, our room for children aged 2-3.

“Children at this age are great to work with because they are like little sponges so you can play a big part in their development,” she says.

“I love working here. The staff are very friendly, the parents are supportive, and it is a nice environment to be in.

“Now I just want to better myself and continue my professional development here at Clever Clogs.”

Outside of work Katelin enjoys health and beauty (she is a self-taught nail technician) and is currently preparing to take her driving test.
