Big Inventors is the room where older children end their journey with us at Clever Clogs Bowburn before leaving to start ‘big school’.

By following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, we can provide the opportunities and activities which encourage children to work towards the early learning goals in the seven areas of learning within the framework which are:

Prime areas

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Physical Development
• Communication and Language

Specific areas

• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

The same framework continues on into reception class when your child goes to school and to further support in this important process we have built excellent relationships with local schools, which includes visits from the reception teachers who will be teaching your child when they leave Clever Clogs.

Our pre-school children in Big Inventors benefit from many learning and development area, including a reading area, IT corner, science area and much more. They also have free access to the outdoor play area all day

By the time your child leaves Clever Clogs Bowburn, they will have had the very best start in their educational life as they begin their new journey at school, and also had lots of fun in the process too!
