Tiny Miracles is the room where younger babies begin their journey at Clever Clogs Bowburn

Here, we follow your baby’s home routine with our staff encouraging them to learn through play. A baby’s first year is full of the fun and excitement of sound, sight, and touch, accompanied by a series of special firsts.

Babies spend the day listening to music and stories, exploring and investigating the surrounding environment, developing senses through play opportunities and interacting with adults and other children. There is direct access to a large outside play area and also a separate sleep room where children are able to sleep in cots, with the room and sleep times being monitored.

We follow The Curiosity Approach in this room which brings old and new resources together to create a stimulating environment for children, as well as reducing the need for single use plastic. Through this heuristic, open-ended play, children can explore, learn and develop in a completely natural way.

Once we feel children are physically and emotionally ready to move from Tiny Miracles to the next room – Small Discoverers – at Clever Clogs Bowburn, we begin the transitioning process, which involves ‘trial’ visits and introducing children to their new environment. They only complete the move when we know they are happy and settled and parents are involved in this process throughout.
