Activities play a key part of the children’s learning and development at Clever Clogs. As well as the day-to-day activities devised by staff in our nursery rooms, we also offer extra-curricular activities at a small extra cost and these are:

Football

Via Pass Soccer Academy, ran by former professional football Dean Grayson, we run sessions which provide a great opportunity for your child to develop their fine and gross motor skills, balance and hand, eye, and foot coordination.

This programme is available for our children aged 2, 3 and 4 years. The coaches offer a wide range of fun, exciting and educational games, and opportunities, through using shapes, colours, and different sized aids to support physical and social development.

Mighty Monsters

Mighty Monsters is a programme designed to improve your child’s physical movement whilst playing fun and active games. Physical movement is important for children between the ages of 2-5 years as at this age, children are starting to develop their gross motor skills and enjoy a wide variety of activities.

A trained and experienced coach comes to our nursery to carry out different activities and experiences focusing on different skills and techniques. It is a great opportunity for the children to practice their fine and gross motor skills in different ways and build their social and communication development.

Lingotots

 

Lingotots is a programme that helps teach the children French through taking part in lots of fun and interactive games, songs, stories, drama and play. Classes are held at the nursery, where a member of the Lingotots team comes along and teach our children lots of words and phrases.

This programme is for children ages 3-4 years and is a great way for them to develop their social and communication development through exciting activities.
